These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Grant Nexus platform (“Service”) operated by Grant Nexus LLC (“Grant Nexus,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a Colorado limited liability company. By accessing or using the Service, you (“Customer,” “you”) agree to these Terms.
Grant Nexus is a B2B SaaS platform that uses artificial intelligence to match college and university faculty with federal grant opportunities.

Important: Match scores and recommendations are informational only. Grant Nexus does not guarantee grant eligibility, award likelihood, or application outcomes. All grant decisions are made solely by the issuing federal agencies.
The Service is purchased by educational institutions (“Subscribing Institution”). The Subscribing Institution designates an administrative contact who manages faculty access.
Faculty members at Subscribing Institutions may access the Service through institutional accounts. Faculty may also create self-service profiles to view their matches and manage their research keywords.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Notify us immediately at support@grantnexus.ai if you suspect unauthorized access.

The Subscribing Institution retains ownership of all data it provides to Grant Nexus, including faculty information, department structures, and research descriptions (“Customer Data”). You grant Grant Nexus a limited, non-exclusive license to use Customer Data solely for the purpose of providing the Service, including AI-powered matching.
Grant opportunity data sourced from Grants.gov is public federal data. Grant Nexus does not claim ownership of federal grant listings.
Upon request or termination, we will provide an export of your Customer Data in a standard format (CSV or JSON) within 30 days.
The Service, including its AI models, matching algorithms, scoring methodologies, user interface, and underlying technology, is the exclusive property of Grant Nexus LLC. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights to our intellectual property beyond the limited right to use the Service during your subscription.
The Service is offered on monthly or annual institutional subscription terms. Pricing is based on the selected plan and faculty-profile capacity.
New institutional customers may begin with a 14-day trial. This standard 14-day evaluation does not require a credit card. Trial access ends automatically unless converted to a paid subscription.
Paid subscriptions may be billed through Stripe or via invoice, depending on the checkout path and any institution-specific purchasing requirements. Invoice terms are Net 30 unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Invoice balances unpaid after 30 days may accrue interest at 1.5% per month or the maximum rate permitted by law, whichever is less. We reserve the right to suspend access for accounts more than 60 days past due or when payment processors report repeated billing failures.
Paid subscriptions are generally non-refundable. If the Service is materially unavailable for an extended period, we may provide a pro-rata credit at our discretion. For eligible launch tiers, the 30-day match guarantee described on the Guarantee page remains the specific fee-waiver remedy.
We target 99.5% uptime for the Service, measured monthly (excluding scheduled maintenance). We use commercially reasonable efforts to maintain availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
Grant Nexus collects faculty information exclusively from publicly available sources, including university faculty directories, departmental web pages, and published research profiles.
When faculty members edit their profiles, they are voluntarily contributing information to the platform. By editing your profile, you represent that:
Grant Nexus is not responsible for confidential or sensitive information that users voluntarily add to their profiles in violation of this provision.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GRANT NEXUS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Grant Nexus provides informational matching only. We are not responsible for whether faculty are eligible for any particular grant, the outcome of any grant application, or decisions made based on match scores.
Grant Nexus’s total liability for any claims arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Grant Nexus in the 12 months preceding the claim.
In no event shall Grant Nexus be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost grants, or lost data.
Either party may terminate the subscription with 30 days written notice. Upon termination, we will provide a data export within 30 days of your request. Customer Data will be deleted within 90 days of termination.
Grant Nexus does not access, collect, store, or process student education records. The Service handles only faculty professional information — names, email addresses, departments, titles, and research keywords — which constitutes publicly available directory information. This data is not covered by FERPA.
In the event of a data breach affecting registered user email addresses or other personal information, Grant Nexus will notify affected users and relevant regulatory authorities in accordance with the Colorado Privacy Act and other applicable laws within 72 hours of confirming the breach.
Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be submitted to good-faith mediation. If mediation does not resolve the dispute within 60 days, either party may pursue litigation in the courts of the State of Colorado.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 30 days before they take effect.
